FOR OUR GOOD. FOR HIS GLORY.

FOR OUR GOOD. FOR HIS GLORY.

Session Led By: Aleah Dixon

Location: Suite 3

Everyone wants to grow until it requires something of us. Though struggles come, it’s in those seasons God can grow us the most. The enemy will try to convince us we’ll never be able to persevere, but God says He has given us everything we need for life and godliness in Christ Jesus. Friends, it’s possible to stand firm as we navigate the trials of life. We simply need the proper perspective. Join me as we dive into the truth about trials, the hope of victory, and how God intentionally uses it all for our good and His glory

HAHA HEALING

HAHA HEALING

Session Led By: Jordan Stanley

Location: The Roosevelt

Life is full of unexpected things. Sometimes we like to try and write our own stories and that control we crave can blind us to seeing the awesome story God is writing. While we can’t pick and choose our life circumstances, we can change our perspective. God is GOOD! In all I have been through, God has gifted me with humor to get through it. We all have those moments when things are so outrageous that all we can do is laugh and maybe cry at the same time. Just like when I thought using a confetti cannon in my headshot was a good idea, and then it was so loud I shrieked. The Bible says that a cheerful heart is like medicine to the soul! A specific verse I love is Luke 6:21. It says “Blessed are you who weep now, for you WILL laugh.”

There is a time for both. In this session, I’ll give you tools to help you own your story and see the joy God produces in even the scariest and difficult moments.

For years she struggled with the question of “ I know that God is good, but is he good to me?”. Through Jesus, therapy, and hard work, she is on the path of allowing God to turn her mourning into dancing!

WOMEN WHO WORSHIP

Session Led By: Emily Press

Location: The Bower

What is worship, why is it important for us, why is it important to God? Join us as we discuss what true worship is, how it may look in different seasons of our lives, and what we have access to when we encounter God’s presence through worship. Whether you are in the valleys of life right now dealing with loss, disappointment, in a season of waiting, etc., or are on the mountaintops of life and everything is going well, we all have a reason to worship, and we serve a God who loves us deeply and is worthy of our praise. Can’t wait to see you there

PRAYING PRECISELY

Session Led By: Anna Lokey

Location: The Tipsords

Precision and accuracy are both extremely important when applied to prayer. The Bible is our perfect guide to both, and it says that, “…the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” As a woman of God, what better way to serve the people around us than to pray effectively.
